See the sky? This is how white it outside right now... you can't see a thing!
I expect most of you guys are experiencing this too, or are prepared for it coming.....
My little love birdie adds a cheerful winter glow to the proceedings though don't you think?
So, what about you, what are your plans for the snowy weekend we have in store for us...fireside cosyness, snuggling down for a few days of eating heartily (it's essential to keep warm, you know) or rosy cheeked frolics, snowball fights and tingly fingers when you come back indoors?
A bit of both for me I think (although I may try and persuade the boys that they'll have much more fun if I just watch them from indoors!)
Have a good one.

Oh I love your little birdie ... much of the same planned here although we haven't had white out yet ... just grey sleet ... fingers crossed we get some proper snow ... wishing you a lovely weekend ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the snow will get to you soon! X
DeleteGosh, at first glance your birdie looks like it's on paper. Brrr, it must be cold there. It's grey here too but still warm though. Enjoy the snow! x
ReplyDeleteYes, you can just about see the blur of snowflakes in the background...it hasn't stopped snowing now since 9am.... Off on the school run shortly with the sledge!
ReplyDeletesnow is beginning it's flutterings over here (south england).
ReplyDeleteyour birdie seems quite content with it all. happy weekend.
I think she is x
DeleteAh, I love the snow.
ReplyDeleteTook a detour through the park en route to the tube this morning and it was so pretty - the serpentine was half-frozen and birds picking their way across the snow.
If it lasts until tomorrow, I think our plan is to bundle up and see if Mister G likes the snow -- if he's a Scot like me, I think he will, but if he's a Sicilian-Canadian like his papa, then all bets are off ;)
Have a lovely weekend

Hope you had a good snow filled one! x
DeleteSweet birdie! Our sky looked like that earlier - it pretty much snowed allllll day! We'll be doing a little of venturing out in the frozen white, and a little of snuggling up at home this weekend. I think you definitely need to persuade your boys that you need to watch from inside!x
ReplyDeleteIt worked Helen, all 3 of them gone, for hours!!
DeleteThat is a very white sky indeed - you must've got some snow. We spent a magical weekend in the Yorkshire Dales where is was blooming cold but very pretty.
