This week I'm mostly loving...

....this art from Clare Elsaesser.

I'm not normally a pink kinda gal, or a painting kinda gal, but the colour combinations and the mood of these really caught my eye.

I understand this kind of hiding - (behind pretty things) - it resonates with me. I have days like this.

I particularly like the 1st one, 'So Much', the stripey top appeals too.

I like these a lot. The colour and brushstrokes work together to live a lovely soft mood to her work. x

Hello there, I'm Jen.

This is the place where I share my days, my photos, my finds, and probably an exclamation mark or two.

I am a frustrated creative - and spend far too much time pouring over beautiful online images instead of putting pen to paper and coming up with my own. This blog I hope, will inspire me to start though, and share along the way. Update: it has!!!

Apart from screen-gazing, my days are taken up with keeping my 2 boys and one bloke entertained from dawn til dusk, and a spot of allotment digging (when the sun shines).

I try to lead a simple life. Taking time to appreciate what's around me, slowing down, (not sure it's possible but I try) seeing friends, cooking, eating, sleeping and doing stuff with my family. It's what makes me happy!
